INDIVIDUALS
As your therapist I offer a supportive, direct, compassionate perspective that can help bring awareness and clarity about what you want in your life and what gets in the way. Often we experience depression and anxiety when we've learned to hide different parts of ourselves. Together we can explore these parts and make room for more of you in your life.
COUPLES
I work with couples to become experts on your relationship. We work together to learn the system that gets created between you that leads to a place of disconnection, and how to connect again.
Approaches:
Attachment Based Psychodynamic Therapy: The awareness that the relationship between you and your first caregiver influences the relationships in your adult life.
Relational Work: I'll guide you in using what occurs between us as a mirror to other relationships in your life.
Mindfulness: Together we will become more aware of your moment-to-moment experience. This awareness helps foster a different relationship with your thoughts and feelings, offering more choice in each moment.
Somatic Therapy: I'll support you in bringing more awareness to your physical sensations in relationship to your thoughts, feelings, memories and ideas. Becoming more present in the body can lead to greater focus and presence in your every day life.
